Le Vigne Farmhouse was purchased in the 1980s by the Moggi family, who at the time found in the land a farm with a barn and agricultural outbuildings partially restored to be used as a Farmhouse at the beginning of 2022.
The three apartments are located in the residential area of Monticiano, a medieval village in the province of Siena, where you can enjoy total peace and privacy but at one step away from the village center and all the services it offers.
The apartments have been refurbished according to modern furnishings, while taking into account the rustic aspects and details of the Tuscan countryside.

Information on the Territory
Monticiano
Monticiano is a typical medieval village, whose ancient part is still enclosed by a wall, interspersed with towers now incorporated into the houses. On the main square there is the church of Saints Giusto and Clemente, whose architectural structure has Roman-Gothic characters on which the seventeenth-century bell tower stands out. The ancient wall door opens on the typical Concordia square.
Two other churches, with important works from the Sienese school inside, are located outside the walls: La Canonica and the Convent of San Agostino with a small museum inside. Adjacent to the convent there is an important museum dedicated to the biodiversity of our valleys. The village is located between the Val di Merse and the Val di Farma, protected areas for the particularity of their flora and fauna. The clear waters of the Farma flow offering panoramas of absolute beauty to each bend (see the famous Canaloni). Along the river, a path that can be traveled on foot and by bicycle, allows long and pleasant walks.
Still on the Farma river, a few km from Monticiano we find the thermal waters of Petriolo with an adjacent thermal structure. About 10 minutes by car (7.9 km) there are the Abbey of San Galgano and the Hermitage of Montesiepi, which can also be reached through an internal road that can be traveled on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, perfect for nature lovers.
From Monticiano you can easily reach the Maremma with its seaside locality such as Follonica and Castiglione della Pescaia and cities rich in history and art such as Siena, Pienza, Monteriggioni, San Giminiano, Massa Marittima, Volterra, but also Florence and Pisa.
